15th Street Farm

We are a non-profit urban educational farm that facilitates learning and community building around healthy food from soil to fork.

Our Story

In 2010, a group of volunteers headed by Bill Bilodeau and Emmanuel Roux, transformed several lots of the Faith House, an alcohol and drug rehab center, into an urban farm as a therapeutic vegetable garden to provide fresh nutrient-dense food to the residents.

In 2016 the organization was saved from shutting down following a loss of federal funding. Mark Hunter, a social entrepreneur, in collaboration with Emmanuel Roux, redefined the organization's mission, and the concept of an innovative educational urban farm was developed.

In 2023 the addition of a commercial kitchen and event space transformed 15th St Eco Farm into an urban oasis in the heart of Downtown St Petersburg, FL where residents come to reconnect with nature, discover the true taste of ultra-fresh organically grown food, learn, socialize and enjoy themed dinners and cooking classes

The revenues generated by dinners, tours, and classes fund the nonprofit mission by providing free outreach, gardening, and wellness classes to community members in need.

Our Events

At 15th St Farms, we offer a variety of events including cooking classes, yoga brunches, corporate lunches, farm tasting tours, gardening classes, and our signature offering — farm-to-table dinners. We also offer private events.

All of our dinners are based on a prix fixe and served family-style at long tables in the covered open-air events pavilion, facing our wood-fired brick oven and the sprawling urban farm.  The emphasis is on the freshness of local ingredients, most of which are grown a few feet away, illustrating their authentic taste.

“A meal at 15th St farm will be akin to going to a friend’s for a convivial elegant dinner in a unique setting.” ~Emmanuel Roux, 15th St Farm’s founder.
