15th Street Farm at Do Good Day 2025

15th Street Farm during Do Good Day at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill, in the EDGE District.

Do Good Every Day

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, 15th Street Farm was proud to participate in Do Good Day at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill—an inspiring event that brought together 40 local nonprofits in the heart of St. Petersburg’s EDGE District.

Hosted during the ever-popular Mezzo Market, Do Good Day transformed Ferg’s into a hub of community energy, packed with people eager to learn, give back, and connect with meaningful causes across the city.

As one of the featured nonprofits, 15th Street Farm had the opportunity to share our mission and ongoing projects with hundreds of attendees. Our team spoke with families, educators, and community members who were excited to learn more about:

Learning about 15th Street Farm.

It was a beautiful reminder that building community starts with showing up—and that so many people in our city care deeply about sustainability, health equity, and connection.

From local college students to long-time residents, people stopped by our booth to ask thoughtful questions about how we grow our food, how we teach kids through hands-on programming, and what makes regenerative urban agriculture so essential for St. Pete's future.

We were also deeply inspired by the other nonprofits who showed up and showed out—each one working hard every day to make our community more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive for all. From food justice and mental health to arts education and youth mentoring, the collective impact of Do Good Day was felt in every conversation and every smile.

We’d like to thank Do Good Day FL for organizing such a purposeful event and creating space for nonprofits like ours to be seen, heard, and celebrated. We’d also like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, signed up for our newsletter, asked about upcoming dinners, or picked up some fresh greens from the farm.

This event was a beautiful reminder: doing good doesn’t belong to one day. It’s something we can choose to cultivate—together—all year long.
